Enemy navmesh avoidance

How can i make the enemy avoid high climbs but be able to come down, because if the player try to climb it could not have speed and it will get stuck, but i want that him can come down if he is over a mountain. I already tryed to generate the navemesh whitout high climbs but if the player is down an the enemy is over a mountain it will find a path arroun the map to the player insted of only follow the player. by other words, if the player get down of a mountain the enemy will go around instead of get down with the player. ![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/temp/23948-p.png
