Asset spit fire but is no longer working, but when i check the backups it works as intended.

I have an enemy that spits fire but it's not killing the player. ive checked my backups and it is working perfectly on them. I have compared the backups to the current version and everything is in the correct place in the current version, the code matches up and all the scripts are in the right place. When the player comes into physical contact with the enemy they die, so i know that the attack script is working. there is a box collider set as a trigger attached. the player health script matches to its backup I have no clue as to why its not working, does anyone have any suggestions???
